Some crawl spaces are wet and require a drainage system underneath the liner.
We can recommend a drainage system that is best for your crawl space conditions.

When wet crawl spaces require a drainage system, DrySpace installs a Basement System SuperSump pump to drain the water and pump it out. The SuperSump has a reliable 1/3 horsepower cast iron pump in a strong durable pump liner with holes in it to accept water from the ground. It features an airtight lid to keep the moisture and bugs out and a Waterwatch alarm system to let homeowners know before the crawl space can flood if there is ever a pump or power problem. The SuperSump is installed in a low area of the crawl space.

Other options include a perforated drainage piping system, with or without a stone bed. In addition to getting rid of unwanted gases, critters and funguses, the removal of moisture prevents structural damage.

Once the drainage is installed, the tough, DrySpace 20 mil poly liner is installed over it and sealed tight around the SuperSump. The liner, covering the ground and sealed to crawl space walls, isolates the home from the earth completely and permanently, yet still allows homeowners access. It comes with a 25-year warranty against holes, tears, or groundwater on top of it.
